City Crafter #350

Hello and good morning!

It's my turn to host this
weeks' challenge at the City Crafter.
I picked the theme:

"A few stitches"

Create a project and add stitches to your project.
By using your stitched dies or faux stitching.

We are having Bailey Rosie as our Guest Designer.
Please hop over to her blog to see
                                      more of her lovely creations.

I made a CAS card with an elegant touch:

And used one of my favorite stamp sets.
It's on its way to a very dear friend.

You can find more inspiration
from the other team members and
Bailey on our blog.

One layer

It's the kind of weekend that I love the most:
nothing planned and lots of time
to create a few cards.
Today I am sharing one of these cards.

Sometimes you need a quick and easy card
because you ran out of time.
Shades of blue for a birthday boy.
The sentiment is from MFT
and the balloon is from PTI:

Very CAS and easy to make:

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely Sunday!

City Crafter #349

Good morning!

It's Tuesday and that means
a new challenge at the
Today Kirsty is our host
and she picked the theme:

"Old stuff, new look"

Take an old project and give it a new look.
It could be a project that you
made and wasn't happy about.
Or you could duplicate one of your old creations
and add something to give it a new look.

Our Guest designer is Magic Flyer Boots.

To see more of her creations you can click HERE.

I made this card in 2015:

Back then I was pleased with this card.
It's CAS and I loved the colour combo.
Looking at this card right now I
decided it needed a bit more white:)
And a sentiment in a modern font.
But first...more white:

I used a stitiched die; it was one of the Christmas
gifts from Ros. And I LOVE it.
The apple die is from Papertrey Ink.
A sentiment in a modern font
and of course some twine.
Same get well wishes but a totally different card:

Simple style

It's a beautiful and sunny Sunday
but it's so darn cold here!
We went out for a long walk
(a bit more than 8 kilometres/5 miles)
and it's lovely to come home
and have a hot cup of coffee:)

I made a card with the Scripty Saying
dies and stamps from Lawn Fawn.
And added a little heart; although
it's not a Valentine card:)

I love the font of this sentiment:

Thanks for stopping by
and enjoy your Sunday!

Stay warm:)

City Crafter #348

Good morning!

It's time for a new challenge
at the City Crafter.
This week Marina is our host
and she picked the theme:

Marina asks us to create a project and
use an envelope or letter.

We are having Jenny Martin
as our guest designer
You can see more of her creations on her blog.

I had a few ideas, tried a few
things but wasn't pleased.
You could say I struggled a bit...
So I asked Ros for advice;
She knows me well and came up
with a few great ideas.

I made a card using Lawn Fawn stamps
and plaid paper from My Favorite Things:

I could use it for a birthday,
wedding anniversary or even a Valentine card.
A clean and simple card; my favorite style:)

If you hop over to our blog
you'll find the projects from
Jenny and the other team members.

enjoy your day!
