Belated birthday wishes....

How are you? Ready for the upcoming weekend? I know I am... We are still having wonderful spring weather. We started today with some clouds but the sun is coming through again. Temperatures are back to normal for springtime but I am not complaining :)
What are your plans for this weekend? I start tomorrow with watching the royal wedding in the UK. It's also broadcasted here in Holland; I'll be sitting on the couch all day and watch it from start till finish! Tomorrow evening we're having an anniversary dinner for the 50th wedding anniversary of my parents-in-law.
Saturday is a special day here in Holland. It's the day to celebrate the Queens' birthday. There are a lot of events and one of the traditions is that there are markets all over the country. Everyone can have their surplus stuff to sell in this market. You can find these markets in each city and neighborhood. Fun to visit!
Over to a challenge :) I made a card with belated birthday wishes for a f…

Happy Birthday City Crafter....Hurrah!!!

Hello everyone!
How are you? Before I start digging in my garden :) I have to submit my card for this weeks'challenge and first anniversary of  the City Crafter Chalenge Blog.
First of all congratulations to Kirsty, Ros, Cheryl and Linda! Thank you so much for starting this wonderful challenge. I discovered this blog when they were already at challenge #11 and I can honestly say I only missed a few. (I think 2; due to being sick or no mojo at all :)...) It's always fun to play along and I learned a lot during this last year. Thank you ladies for all the fun, inspiration, beauty and encouraging words. But most of all I am thankful for the friends I made through this blog! Thank you ladies; for being there..........and...congratulations!
I also want to thank the DT for making me a spotlight artist again; I am very proud and happy.Thank you ladies!
And now it's time for my card!

CCCB # 51 'Cheer Up"

Hello everyone!
How are you? I hope the weather in your part of the world is just as gorgeous as it is here in Holland... It has been a few days since I've been here. After a very busy week and weekend I finally had a chance to squeeze in some time for a card. I made this card for this weeks' challenge at the City Crafter Challenge Blog. This week you have to include something digital and a get well / thinking of you theme. I added a free download from the Graphics Fairy and you can found this weeks' theme in my sentiment. It's quite simple; I just added the sentiment "Girl Friend" for a special friend who really needed a card to brighten her day a bit.... ( I hope that's good enough for the challenge)
I used some paper from Prima (Botanical) and the polka dotted paper is from Action. The green flower and the stud on my bow are also from Prima. Roses from Mulberry and lace from my stash. The sentiment is from Crafty Secrets stamped with Bamboo Leaves from Mem…
