Lift Challenge #81

I am just popping in to share my card I made for the currentLiftchallenge We're supposed to lift this card:

It has been a real challenge to come up  with something share-worthy;  This is a beautiful technique but it's not my forte; the perfect reason for another attempt! I had a to add a little extra; that birdie:)  But forgot about the splatters...

Thanks for stopping by! Stella

Supplies: Aquarel cardstock Diffrent Colors ink: Sea Green and Kiwi Papertrey Ink Harvest Gold and Hawaiian Shores Papertrey Ink stamps: Ruby Rose, Turning a new leaf  and the sentiment is from the Mini Blooms set Sequins The birdie is originally made to use as a pin for appetisers:)

City Crafter #250

It's Tuesday and that means  a new challenge at the City Crafter.   My dear and sweet friend Ros is our host  and she picked the theme "Use it up". Create a card or project using mostly items  from your scrap stash :)  And tell us what they are.

Our Guest Designer this week isOriBella;  you can find more of her lovely projects on herblog.
My take on the theme: I use of lot of white cardstock.  After the huge Christmas order from last year  there were loads of scraps; all from white cardstock.  They came from cards that were not perfectly stamped.  I cut the front and kept the strips from the front that were not stamped  (perfect for fishtails!)  and I also kept the "back" of the card.  The back of the card is a perfect fit to a cover plate. I also used a piece of darkblue cardstock. And some patterned snippets of a paper  pad from Little Yellow Bicycle.

Good evening.... I hope you all had a great weekend!
I am always a little behind when it comes to trends;   and I just joined the "gold trend".... It's a first small step to add a few golden sequins.

The card is inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest a sort of personal Lift Challenge:)

(the photos are not perfect; due to bad daylight when I took them)
Thanks for stopping by! Stella

Our Guest Designer this week is Lenet;  you can find more of her lovely projects on her blog
My take on the theme: I used a piece of metal foil and adhered it to white cardstock. And cut my sentiment:

Soime washi tape in bright colors and  I used my dotted embossing folder.

The winner will be able to join us as a Guest Designer!
On our blog you can find more inspiration from  our Guest Designer and the other team members. I am looking forward to see what you come up with;  thanks for stopping by!

A weekend with lots of sun; I am so ready for spring.  Just like you :)
I made a birthday card with papers I got fromJudith. And paired them up with a PTI birthday die  and a badge from Gossamer Blue:

Here is my card:

Have a great Sunday; thanks for stopping by! Stella

City Crafter #248

I am here today to kick off the new challenge at the City Crafter. This week our theme is "You Matter"
With Valentine's day around the corner I want you to create a card or project to tell someone what they mean to you or to thank them for they have done  for you. For example; you're special,  you mean the world to me or a thank you note.

I have a master degree when it comes to hoarding patterned papers. So I decided to create a few cards with less stamping  and using a bit of my huge stash:)

Background paper from Stampin"Up.   Sentiment die from Paper Smooches;  cut from darkblue cardstock.  I punched a heart from glittered paper from Amercian Crafts.

My second card is a bit more colorful:

Made with a few papers from Echo Park (Sweet Girl) The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink;  heat embossed with white embossing powder. And cut with a pierced fishtail die from MFT; for an unknown reason  that sentiment looks a bit bubbly. No idea how that happened; in rea…

Lift Challenge #80

Finally there is some time for a card that  I made for the current Lift Challenge.  The weeks are busy; and due to that  I did not have much energy left after work for blogging.  I am sorry but life just got in the way...
On to my card;; we are supposed to lift this card:

Instead of adding a pinwheel I used my Songbird die from PTI again:

This set is so versatile and I love it.  Severtal bird dies, banners, flowers and branches.  And perfect to mix and match.  Paired up with dotted paper from PTI,   one of the Gorgeous Grunge stamps from SU   and a sentiment die from MFT I came up with this:

Thanks for stopping by! Stella

Our Guest Designer this week is Kara Lynne.  On her blog you will find lots of beautiful cards in a style that I just love!
This theme has been quite a challenge for me.  I tend to work in a CAS and fresh style lately  and roses and lace are bit out of my comfort zone. I managed to come up with a card that still has a CAS look :)  And a great opportunity to ink up a stamp  from D…

Simple design

Almost Sunday evening and this week went by so fast.  Where did the days go? It's chilly and grey here; typical for a Dutch winter.  I made two cards; both CAS and in fresh and favorite colors.   I guess I am ready for spring:)
Shades of green;

And shades of blue:
