Dutch Card Lovers #247 & Just Us Girls #328

One of my goals for 2016 is to decrease  the huge amount of patterned papers. Most of the time I don't want to use  them because they are too pretty:) But here is another card made with  more than cardstock only:) And based on two challenges:  at Dutch Card Lovers. We 're supposed to use flowers.  I used only one....

And Just Us Girls:
The theme is Tic Tac Toe.
I choose Die cuts- Stamps-Flowers

The flower is a die cut sent to me by Gerdine. She cut it from silver foil and I love it. Simplicity in grey, white and silver:

Thanks for stopping by; enjoy your weekend! Stella

Happy Birthday Ros!!!!!

My very dear and close friend Ros
is celebrating her birthday today!

Happy birthday dear Ros;  we are wishing you a wonderful day!!!!
You can hop over to her blog to congratulate her! Of course I made a card for her.  Ros loves animals and I know she also loves a bit of black  paired up with white or cream.  To add a bit of sparkle I cut my balloon from gold foil.
I hope that my card will arrive in time :)

Enjoy your day! Stella

Speaking of winter......

I hope you are all well and warm.... Last Sunday I wrote that there was snow predicted. I never ever would have thought that it would turn  out more extreme as predicted. Monday I was able  to go to work; I took the bus; although it was  a bit slippery outside. Tuesday morning the roads were covered in ice,  public transport was not available here in Groningen.  And for our part of the Netherlands we were suggested  not to drive unless it was really necessary.  But we weren't even able to drive the car without slipping  away...And walking about 5 miles over slippery and iced  roads to the office was not an option.  So: stuck at home. It never happend before.  Children were skating in the streets!  But we are getting back to normal. Back to work on  Wednesday and now it's raining.  The thaw is here and the ice is melting; pfew! Being at home I took the time to  study and also made a card.  A perfect match with the weather conditions:)

Inspired by Pinterest I came up with a winter card  in my f…

Confetti and sparkle

I hope you are all enjoying the comfort of a lazy Sunday.  Its cold, windy and slippery here.  There is snow predicted for my part of the country.  The first one of this winter;  we had spring temperatures in December....
I made a card with a bit of sparkle: (not the best photos but the daylight here is horrible today...)

I am glad to make something else as Christmas cards again.. I inked my confetti stamp in three different colors  and added -again-  a sentiment cut from gold foil. And for once no twine or cord:)

Stay warm! Stella
