A little bit of the things

that kept me busy:)  This a LONG post!
But first:
Ros
and her husband are coming to Groningen! I am on cloud nine :) Ros' husband is a big (football) fan of Everton. Everton was going to play  against Groningen on July 22st. But after Ros made flight and hotel reservations  the mayor cancelled the match. But still; they are coming.  Maybe not a football match to enjoy but  we will take them on a bit of sight seeing   and some lovely dinners. And have a few good chats and lots of laughter! My men are also excited. Our youngest son Martijn went  to Liverpool in 2015 and is looking forward to  catch up with his second mum!
My absence (sorry) is due to a few things... Here is my round up from June 1st till now...
I made elderflower syrup:

I also made a few batches of granola:

I attended a workshop at Bij Oma Dee. We made interactive cards;  in fact I only made one :) Judith taught us how to make them:

We celebrated the 60th birthday  of one my sisters, I visited family, a few friends and  went out for dinner with

City Crafter #366

Hello and good morning!
It's my turn to host this weeks'
challenge at theCity Crafter. I picked the theme:
"Frame it "

(source)
Create a project and add a frame. For example: you can use you dies,  doodle a frame or use your washi tapes.
I used my square stitched  dies to create a frame:

(The quality of my photos is a bit blurry due to cloudy weather and rain...)
I used a new SU set: "Colourful Seasons". I love the font of these sentiments  and the coordinating Bear Chair die:

You can find more inspiration from the other team
members onour blog.
Thanks for stopping by  and enjoy your day!

Shaker cards

Hello!
A while ago Cornelie showed me how to
make a shaker card. And they are fun to create! A few weeks ago I made a shaker card for
Kirsty. You can find it HERE.
But before I made Kirsty's card
I made another shaker card.  And it's about time to share it:

The sequin mix is from Studio 92. The sentiment stamp and die  are from Sugar Pea designs. Gingham paper from MFT. And as usual; a sequin :)
I sent it to Miranda and she really liked it!  Thanks for stopping by; have a great day! Stella

City Crafter #365

Good morning!

It's Tuesday and that means
a new challenge at the City Crafter Challenge blog. Today Kirstyis our host and she  picked a photo inspiration theme.  Create a project inspired by
the photo and tell us about it:

On the bottom of the photo the
flowers seem a little bit blurred.
That blurry look turned out to be
 the inspiration for my background.
I also used some of the colours.
I created a background with Magenta Nuance
powders. I made this background two weeks
ago when I had a creative/craft date with Thea.
Thea thanks so much for letting me
use your Magenta powders!

On top of that background I stamped with the  Abstract Background stamp from MFT.  I used Oxide Ink (Spiced Marmalade).
A bright birthday card for one of my sisters:

Onour blog  you can to see the projects  from the other team members. And i hope you will be able to join us!

I passed my exam

and  I feel liberated  :)
Gettng back to a bit of a  normal routine feels good. There is a lot to share.   For example:  our allotment is in full swing. Tonight I fmade the first jars with  strawberry/rhubarb jam.  Fresh fruit from our own allotment and it's delicious! The garden is in full bloom;  we had the most amazing,  warm and sunny weather.  I will share photos in upcoming  posts but for now; a card.
A few weeks ago Marit was here and  she brought along her Brusho powders.  I love them! In between studying I had one  break and visited Thea  (she's not blogging anymore) Thea offered me a chance to use  her Magenta powders.  I'll share that card on Tuesday.
I had to buy Magenta powder  in various colours:) The card I am sharing today is made  with my own Magenta powders.  I love the result:

The sentiment is from Stampin'Up;  the frame die is from MFT

Have a lovely evening (or day) Till soon,
Stella
